This looks great! Love the comics too, they're the first comics I've bought since I became a fan of DC last year. Ah, the flying Grayson's poster, and a wanted poster for nightwing? XD And man, they look hot smoking, now they just need to be smoking in a suit, and it would be even classy
No I don't like this Roy. They got rid of his robo-arm. Got rid of half of his troubled past. Erased his wife and kid from history. Made him a sap. And made his sponsor Killer-Croc. What sense does any of that make? How is it better?
Yeah well I'm open minded. So please. I'm curious as to why you like new Roy better. If you convince me, that'd be a good step towards appreciating the New 52 a bit more and maybe finally accepting it. It's a win win.
I like people to read comics and love them the way I do. Roy, as he was, was a very damaged character in a really difficult way to relate to.
Also, take in mind how most audiences will be introduced to Roy-- either through the new TV Show "Arrow" where he's very similar to the New 52 Roy, or through Teen Titans / Young Justice. Once again, both more similar to the New 52 Roy versus the Pre/Post Crisis Roy.
The New 52 Roy gives fans a chance to fall in love with him again before he gets so much baggage it becomes impossible to relate.
Fair point. But previous Roy may have been troubled but that's what added on to his character dynamic.
I haven't watched Arrow yet but I have watched Young Justice. In that show both the Roys act like Post Crisis Roy more than they do New 52 Roy. In the New 52 Roy went from badass to Mr. Nice guy of the Outlaws.
